Which Beer Will Fill the Stanley Cup?

Congratulations to the Stanley Cup winning Chicago Blackhawks. Check out each city's craft beer lineup below, as we attempted to guess which beer would fill the Stanley Cup!

BOSTON BRUINS

Samuel Adams Boston Lager - The tried and true beer that is everything Boston. If this group of beers were a hockey team, Sam Adams would be the captain.

Harpoon IPA - The Flagship beer of Harpoon Brewery is a hoppy one. It has a nice floral aroma and a slightly bitter finish.

Wachusett Blueberry - Wachusett Brewing Co. is a Massachusetts beer staple, and the brewery brings some A-game on the Blueberry Beer.

Beer Works Back Bay IPA - Beer Works brews their own beer in 2 locations in Boston, and 4 total in MA. Bruins fans always have the Back Bay to fall back on after the game.

John Harvard's Pale Ale - Named after the local Ivy League affiliate, we imagine this is what Will Hunting was throwing back before throwing fists. "How do you like them apples?"

Cambridge Brewing Co. Amber - A well balanced beer that covers everything like a 2nd line center, this beer has a deep reddish hue with a roasted flavor and a fruity hop finish.

CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS

Revolution Brewing's Eugene - A dark and velvety porter that can be found year-round. This beer just has something about it, like scoring the game winning goal.

Goose Island Pepe Nero - Another dark beer that has a grit to it, like a veteran defenseman. This beer is almost pitch black and has notes of wood ships, peppercorn, and au jus. Perfect for a grilling companion.

Half Acre Daisy Cutter Pale Ale - Easily the most drinkable on this list, Daisy Cutter is a light and balanced pale ale with a smooth finish. Have one of these to wash those intermission nachos down with something better than that light beer...

5 Rabbit 5 Lizard - This is a very interesting beer. With notes of coriander, passion fruit and citrus (notably lime); this brew goes great with any pregame meal.

Mickey Finn 847 Suburban Wheat Ale - For the Chicago brawler in all of us. This beer will get you fired up for the game and proud about your city.

Three Floyds Alpha King American Pale Ale - Arguably the most well rounded beer on the list, Three Floyds crafts a balanced APA with a clean and bright hop finish that perfectly supplements the malty sweetness. This beer matches the change in weather for NHL Playoffs.
